Brooke joined Creature in 2009. He's been in the industry for more than 13 years. Working in New Zealand and the UK.

 

His experience runs the gamut of design-led communications, from creating and managing corporate identities to annual reports. He's even turned his hand to Retail Design.

 

As Account Director at Creature, Brooke ensures all our clients strategic and design objectives are met. He is involved in all phases of projects; maintaining an overview throughout and making sure the Crerature experience hums and exceeds expectation at each touch point.

Janelle's Role

Janelle brings over 18 years’ experience in the design worlds of Auckland, Wellington and London. Her experience includes working as a senior designer and design director for DNA Design (Wellington), Dave Clark Design (Auckland and Wellington) and LDA (London).

Janelle brings over 18 years’ experience in the design worlds of Auckland, Wellington and London. Her experience includes working as a senior designer and design director for DNA Design (Wellington), Dave Clark Design (Auckland and Wellington) and LDA (London).

 

Before establishing Creature, Janelle worked on developing New Zealand brands such as NZMP, NZ Milk, Air New Zealand, BJ Ball Papers and AMP’s Liquid.co.nz. She has designed communications for organisations such as Housing New Zealand, Manukau City Council and Child Youth & Family.

 

Her love of design combined with a personal belief in organisations such as Capital E and Arts Wellington has inspired Janelle to develop brand identities, permanent mural billboards and promotional materials that encourage New Zealanders to engage with art, theatre and music in New Zealand.

 

Tim Fraser

Turned on by typography, HBO, song writing & recording, good manners, sensational photography & illustration, history, corduroy, and good vodka with sparkling mineral water and lime, Tim brings a well-informed yet refreshing perspective to the design process.

Turned on by typography, HBO, song writing & recording, good manners, sensational photography & illustration, history, corduroy, and good vodka with sparkling mineral water and lime, Tim brings a well-informed yet refreshing perspective to the design process.

 

His 12 years’ experience includes work in the design, advertising and new media arenas. He has worked as an art director and producer for Dave Clark Design, Clemenger BBDO, Y&R, Lavender, DNA Design and Brave New World.

 

Before setting up Creature, Tim helped develop communications and advertising for Telecom, NZ Dairy Board and Westpac. His international work includes Orange Telecommunications (UK), Virgin Megastores (UK), Virgin Gamestores (UK), Ted Baker Clothing (UK), Siemens Mobile (UK) and London Electricity.

 

Tim has blended his personal interest in music and love of design to produce fresh and experimental work for festivals such as Fete de la Musique and Bomb the Space, and cover artwork for Wellington music collective Woolshed sessions.

A fashionable Wellingtonian Amy holds a Communications Degree from Massey University, in Wellington, and is the Creature that keeps the Studio running smoothly – even when the Wellington wind is attempting to push us off course.

A fashionable Wellingtonian Amy holds a Communications Degree from Massey University, in Wellington, and is the Creature that keeps the Studio running smoothly – even when the Wellington wind is attempting to push us off course.

 

A self confessed gym bunny, Amy balances her love of life with lashings of fine wine, great food and enjoyable company. Toying with the idea of starting a food blog Amy often regales the studio with stories of her latest culinary creation.

Ying’s obsessions and interests are wide reaching and varied. From knitting to all things crafty and vintage, Ying’s eclectic tastes and musings give huge depth to her design aesthetic.

Ying’s obsessions and interests are wide reaching and varied. From knitting to all things crafty and vintage, Ying’s eclectic tastes and musings give huge depth to her design aesthetic.

 

Ying cut her teeth at Designworks after graduating from Massey.There she worked on a wide variety of clients including Zelandia, City Gallery Wellington, Kiwibank, AMI and the Ministry of Justice.

 

Ying is a an integral and refreshing part of the design team at Creature.

A fastidious eye for detail underpins Wayne’s approach to art production. He has a special talent for understanding the core concept of any campaign, and interpreting it in a range of visual treatments across a wide variety of print and electronic media.
